As a gesture of appreciation for their unwavering support, loyal Aptos users and NFT holders were eligible for a special airdrop of GUI Tokens. This airdrop served as a recognition of their commitment to the Aptos ecosystem and an acknowledgment of their pivotal role in its growth and success. The airdrop was not just a token distribution; it symbolized a bond between Aptos projects and their most dedicated supporters. This gesture was designed to strengthen the community, fostering a sense of belonging and reinforcing the idea that Aptos’s success was intrinsically tied to the passion and loyalty of its user base.

Beyond the immediate benefits of the airdrop, GUI Token aimed to empower long-term Aptos users by providing them with new opportunities within the ecosystem. Whether through governance mechanisms, staking utilities, or participation in exclusive events, GUI Token holders would enjoy privileges that reflected their status as stalwart supporters of Aptos. This initiative underscored Aptos’ commitment to creating a sustainable and rewarding ecosystem where every user, especially the veterans, played a vital role in shaping its future.

NFT communities were rewarded with the GUI token airdrop, which included not just the original collections, such as Aptos Monkeys, AptoRobos, Aptomingos, Mavrik, Spooks, and Bruh Bears, but also many other collections highlighted on our social channels in different tiers. GUI had kept it fair for every Aptos NFT user who held multiple NFTs because of their conviction for the blockchain and the NFT projects here.

Additionally, long-term Aptos users who had created volumes were also eligible for the GUI airdrop. Curated data had been collected from various protocols, including Pancakeswap, Thala, Liquidswap, Amnis Finance, Aries Markets, Kana Labs, Merkle Trade, and NFT marketplaces.

NFT Projects Allocation

NFT projects were airdropped 16% of the total supply of GUI to appreciate them for building through one of the bear phases of the Crypto market, and the holders were rewarded for their conviction and patience.

Following is the list of projects that were airdropped GUI INU.

Aptos Monkeys, Bruh Bears, Aptomingos, AptoRobos, Mavrik, Spooks, Pontem Space Pirates, Pontem Dark Ages, Aptos Ape Club, Proud Lions Club, Celestials, Celestians, Boneshaman Totems, Arkle, Move Bots, Netzcuty, Netzjoy, Redacted Keys, and Wapal Christmas Box.

DeFi Projects Allocation

DeFi projects and NFT volume allocation received a 7% airdrop of the total supply.

Pontem LP — Airdrop done
Pontem Volumes — Airdrop done
Wapal — Airdrop done
Mercato — Airdrop done
Overmind — Airdrop done
Kana — Allocation sent to Kana on Dec 29th, 2023
Thala — Allocation sent to Thala on Dec 29th, 2023
Aries Markets — Allocation sent to Aries on Dec 31st, 2023

Apart from these, NFT marketplace users were also airdropped. It included Wapal and Mercato power users who traded NFTs in a reasonable volume.

Future Airdrops

If you didn’t know, GUI INU has a Season 2 planned, a good time later. Probably Q4 2024, with a reasonable allocation set for some of the best Aptos users and traders in all segments, NFT, and DeFi, mainly to be rewarded based on their usage and interaction with the different integrations across Aptos.
